Frank Iaconianni was a 19 year old college student among the swaying palms in Florida when he had a life-changing idea. He loved horticulture and the look of exotic palms and orchids. Why not bring these plants to the Philadelphia area and use them to decorate businesses and homes?

The idea lay dormant for ten years while Frank worked as a computer engineer, but in 1987 Frank left this profession and embarked on his dream. He rented his first greenhouse and found his first customers. As Exotic Foliage’s reputation has spread through word of mouth, their customer base has grown exponentially.
